"Given the neo-prog and more commerically oriented pedigree (Lahost, Pendragon, No-Man, Steve Hackett) of many of the members of this new UK band I was pleasantly suprised at how original it is. Led by Steven Wilson's partner from No-Man, Tim Bowness, Henry Fool touches on ambient, jazz, prog rock, and psychedelia. There are some intense bits of playing that smack head of classic prog but that's not the overall predominant sound the band is going for. At times it does indeed remind me a bit of Porcupine Tree psychedlics with serious injections of a jazz element that comes out of left field. How the hell did Pendragon's Fudge Smith get mixed up in all this?!?! Kudos to these vets for doing something so creative - way cool disc!"
